Sustainability

Sustainable Design seeks to reduce negative impacts on the environment, and the health and comfort of building occupants, thereby improving building performance. Some objectives of sustainability are to reduce consumption of non-renewable resources, minimize waste, and create healthy and productive environments.

Desai/Nasr is committed to incorporating Sustainable Design in our projects. We've long taken the lead on innovative strategies for resource efficiency, and routinely incorporating tools such as the LEED rating system in our projects. We have LEED AP design professionals on staff to assist the team in structural aspects of sustainable design.
