Fort Knox High school is a school located in Hardin County, Fort Knox, Kentucky, serving grades 9 thru 12 on the grounds of Fort Knox. The original building was constructed in 1958. This project was funded by money from the Department of Defense Education Activity which runs the Fort Knox Community Schools. The new building replaced 71,000 SF of the original facility. It includes 20 new classrooms, two computer labs, a commons area, geothermal heating and air conditioning, recessed lockers for improved traffic flow, and specialized functional areas for art, band, science labs, and technology courses. It has a capacity for 462 students. Most of the old high school has been demolished.
